Covid 19 Spring Booster Vaccination Campaign
Our practice will shortly be offering booster appointments for eligible patients at our practice (Not the Life Centre):
- those living in a care home for older adults
- ages 75 and over
- ages 18 - 74 inclusive who are immunosuppressed
If you are not in one of the above groups, then you will be able to book whichever Covid-19 vaccination dose you may be due, via the national booking service https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/ or by ringing 119
Please respond to the invitation which will be around 6 months since your last vaccination dose, by either booking an appointment or declining if yo do not want this or have made arrangements to have the booster elsewhere.
Missing or incorrect Covid-19 vaccination records
The Vaccine Data Resolution Service (VDRS) aims to resolve missing or incorrect vaccination records for people vaccinated in England or abroad, who have a current NHS number and are registered with a GP practice in England.
If a patient believes they have missing or incorrect COVID-19 vaccination data, please ring 119 (option 1 then option 4) and ask the call agent to make a referral to the VDRS team. They will respond within five working days.
Please note: 119 and VDRS call agents will not provide clinical advice.
For those who have been vaccinated abroad and are experiencing issues concerning their Covid-19 vaccination records please click on the link below for guidance on how to register your overseas vaccination.

BT 1572 - Issues with blocked numbers on BT Landlines
BT have apparently introduced a “Call Protect” service, which appears to block certain numbers that BT have identified as nuisance callers, which unfortunately may include our Practice. When calling patients, the call is not accepted and the caller is asked to leave a message on the 1572 system and patients may not be aware that there is a message, or how to retrieve the message. BT customers may not be even aware that they have been enrolled onto this service and would have to update the ‘block list’ either via the BT portal or by contacting BT and request that the practice number is removed from the block list. If BT is your telephone provider, please ensure you have included our telephone number in your ‘block list’ to allow us to get through to you. Thank you.
